Joy To The City includes Urban Angels SF!

Over the weekend, Urban Angels SF was honored to take part in Joy to the City, a joyful, community-wide holiday celebration hosted by Code Tenderloin and Assemblymember Matt Haney at the San Francisco Center.

The family-friendly event brought together children, families, educators, and community partners from across San Francisco. Our team hosted an information table to share more about Urban Angels SF’s free reading tutoring program for unhoused children, connecting directly with families and community members who are eager to support students in need.

Events like Joy to the City reflect our commitment to showing up where our community gathers and expanding our reach through meaningful, in-person connection. We’re grateful for the opportunity to be included alongside so many organizations working to uplift San Francisco’s children and families.

We’re excited to share a few photos from the day below — a wonderful reminder of the joy, community, and shared purpose that make this work possible.
