Urban Angels SF currently offers seven powerful programs that serve the UASF mission including our twice-weekly Angel Runs, the year-round Clothing Donation Program, the annual School Supplies & Backpack Program, our annual Spring campaign, the annual Holiday Gift Program, the Zen Art Hour, and the Youth Ambassador Corps Program.
Angel Run Program (Year-Round)On the regular UASF Angel Runs, our Angel Corp Volunteers make a personal connection with our neighbors struggling with homelessness, bring a sense of humanity and provide hope while delivering to them essentials including clothing, food, water, pandemic supplies and other necessities.
Year-Round Clothing Donation ProgramUrban Angels SF’s year-round Clothing Program collects and distributes clean, weather-appropriate clothing to our neighbors struggling with homelessness and poverty in San Francisco

SPRING CAMPAIGNSEvery Spring, Urban Angels SF runs a special campaign for San Franciscans who are in need. March marks the start of the Urban Angels SF’s month-long Spring campaign to provide essential supplies to men, women, and children who are unhoused or living at the poverty level in San Francisco. Financial donations are used to buy essential supplies. Volunteers sort, organize and deliver the supplies to the grateful men, women, and children who are living on our streets, in shelters, and at the poverty level.
School SupplIES Program (Summer)Urban Angels SF’s annual School Supplies Drive provides new high-quality backpacks filled with new school supplies for elementary school children living in San Francisco’s shelters and those from families living at the poverty level. This program is 100% funded by our financial donors so that we can provide each child with brand new items. It launches on July 1st each year and we deliver the backpacks and supplies in the first week of August, just before the start of the school year.
Holiday Gift Program (Fall)The Urban Angels SF Holiday Gift Drive brings new toys to over 1,200 children living in San Francisco’s homeless shelters and others from families living at the poverty level so that they feel joy, love and a sense of normalcy around the holidays. This program is made possible by our financial donors who allow us to buy quality toys at a discount on Black Friday and by our in-kind donors who deliver holiday gifts for children to the UASF office. This program launches November 1st every year.
Youth Ambassador ProgramThe Urban Angels SF “Youth Ambassador Corps. Program” is youth completing their own charitable projects to aid San Franciscans most in need under the auspices of UASF. The program launched in the fall of 2021 and already 1,500 care packages, hundreds of bags of quality clothing, hundreds of coats and hundreds of gifts for children have been delivered to grateful and deserving San Franciscans. This is due to the dedication, commitment and ingenuity of the UASF Youth Ambassadors. Currently our YAC is comprised of 12 young adults who represent 3 SF high schools and one SF junior high!
Zen Art HourUrban Angels SF’s Zen Art Hour is meditative art through the Zentangle ® method that enters a space of calm in the middle of an anxious mind. Through repetitive lines, curvy strokes, and mindful breathing, participants are able to center, balance and harmonize. This program is proven to provide a definite qualitative benefit to everyone, including our unhoused neighbors, those living at poverty level and our supporters.
