Adopt A Shelter and Give Joy! 

Wonderful people, businesses, and groups, ranging from high school students, to businesses, to families, have signed up this year to Adopt A Shelter -- and there is still time left to join!

You'll receive a list of the children to shop for and you will drop gifts off directly to the shelter. Learn more and sign up at UrbanAngelsSF.org/givejoy.

Ensuring that at-risk children feel cared for, seen and supported during the holidays makes a huge difference for not only the child, but the parents, who often have no extra budget to pay for even a single gift.

When a child feels valued, they bring this sense of self-worth into other areas of life, such as school. This is why Urban Angels SF is committed to helping vulnerable SF children year-round -- not only through tutoring, books, and school supplies, but also during the holidays -- an especially difficult time of year for families with unstable housing.

🎁 How To Give Joy!

Together, we can brighten an especially difficult time of year for children in local shelters.

Our 7th Annual Holiday Gift Program Give Joy! begins today, and we’re on a mission to raise $50,000 to bring truly wonderful gifts to 1,000 children from unhoused families in San Francisco. 

Here's how you can help: 

1. Donate
A child in need experiences the JOY of opening a gift just for him or her on the holiday thanks to your donation. Every dollar counts!

2. Become a sponsor 
Your business, family, or you as an individual, can make a large impact. You have the opportunity to be recognized for your major contribution. 

3. Adopt A Shelter

$5000: helps 100 children in need
$1000: gives 20 children holiday magic
$500: Be an Angel for 10 children without stable housing this Christmas
