Urban Angels SF works with families, schools, and volunteers to give children the support they need to succeed in school and in life.
HOW WE MAKE AN IMPACT
We support San Francisco kids year-round, in and out of the classroom.
One-on-One Tutoring — Personal tutoring that meets each child where they are.
Books for Keeps — Books kids take home and keep, building their own libraries and a love of reading.
School Supplies & Backpacks— Every August, kids start the school year with the supplies they need.
Parent Mentoring — Support for parents so the whole family can help a child thrive.
Education is the most powerful tool we have to help a child build a better, safer, happier life.
Your support puts a tutor in a child's corner, a book in their hands, and a backpack on their shoulders.

In 2026, UASF is committed to helping SF children in great need, who live in shelters and in poverty, through educational support.
In 2025, Urban Angels SF transformed from “giving a fish,” to “teaching to fish.”
Here’s what that impact looks like.
220 children enrolled in our free one-on-one tutoring programs
1,200 books given away
1,000 backpacks filled with school supplies distributed
Since 2015, UASF has provided
65,000 bags of clothing
6 tons of groceries
Educational support for 15,000 children
Joy for 8,000 children through a personal holiday gift
All this was accomplished by hundreds of volunteers including youths who donated over 50,000 hours!
